Recessed Covers & Frames

Recessed covers have a sunken tray that allows for block paving, screed, or other materials to be laid within. This helps to camouflage the cover into its surroundings leaving only the outline of the cover visible. They are rated by their FACTA loading class based on the slow moving pneumatic wheel load of vehicles travelling at speeds of no greater than 20mph in low intensity trafficked areas, such as high streets and in shopping centres.

Our range of recessed covers are available in 3 depths:

40mm - suitable for filling with concrete or screed
60mm - suitable for use with 60mm block paving (actual tray depth of 80mm allowing for 20mm of bedding material)
80mm - suitable for use with 80mm block paving (actual tray depth of 80mm allowing for 20mm of bedding material)
