Silage Tanks

Silage Tanks provide a reliable solution for the collection, retention and underground storage of effluent. Though manufactured in the same sizes as Cesspools, Silage tanks have an extra lining made from a special resin that is designed to be resistant to aggressive silage effluent and to comply with all statutory regulations.

Silage effluent can contain more toxic/harmful chemical waste than domestic sewage, and therefore it has the potential to far more environmental damage if not properly contained.

These tanks are designed for storage only, requiring them to be regularly emptied by a tanker.

Suitable uses include the storing of:

Sewage
Surface water
Agricultural silage
Veterinary waste/animal waste
Firefighting reservoirs
Rainwater harvesting reservoirs
