This Solvent Air Admittance Valve is designed to allow the free entry of air into a sanitary pipework system without the escape of foul gasses into the building. It is intended for use with 110mm pipe with a solvent cement connection.

When installed into sanitary pipework systems conforming to BS EN 12056, the FloPlast Air Admittance Valve not only prevents the loss of water from trap seals due to induced siphonage, but also has the added advantage of providing an early warning indicator to a potential drainage blockage.

Manufacturers Advice: All valves should be stored/installed in an upright position. Approved Document H of the Building Regulations only permits Air Admittance Valves that conform to BS EN 12380. Ventilation and access must be provided to all air admittance valve installations.

Working Temperature

FloPlast's Soil & Waste Systems may be used to carry liquids, when subjected to a continuous flow, with a maximum temperature of 76 degrees C. Intermittent discharges of up to 100 degrees C may occur, provided that a duration of less than two minutes is observed.
