This 750x600mm precast concrete top section is designed to complete the construction of a domestic House Inspection Chamber ready for a suitable metal cover and frame to then be fitted.

This section can be quickly and easily jointed on top of a main chamber section with bituminous or butyl compounds, providing a watertight seal without the use of a concrete surround.

Manufacturer’s Advice: For depths in excess of 1.5m the use of a concrete surround is still recommended.

House Inspection Chambers provide a flexible solution to the demands of domestic drainage access installations. Each section features tongue and groove detailing, which allows for a more accurate build and helps with on-site placement. They are designed to be easy to handle and install, keeping the necessary below ground excavation level to a minimum.

Top Sections that come complete with concrete cover slabs are also available as an alternative to finishing with a metal cover & frame.

The Marshalls CPM range of precast concrete inspection chambers are available in a variety of depths and are manufactured to BS EN1917 / BS 5911-4.

• Design Flexibility - Precast concrete drainage products can be used for a number of purposes, including sewerage and sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS) applications such as stormwater attenuation and storage.
• Water Tightness - Concrete pipes and manholes are designed to be watertight and are tested to pressure levels equivalent to a 5 metre head of water.
