Medium Garden Lawn Land Drainage 80mm Pack

80mm land drain garden lawn pack ideal for draining landscaped areas up to 120m2 using a herringbone layout.

This pack contains:

• 1 x 80mm x 25m Cherry perforated land drainage pipe (kitemarked)
• 2 x 60/80/100mm land drain Y junctions
• 4 x 80mm end caps
• 1 x 60/80mm x 30m geotextile filter sock

This pack will create a herringbone drainage system up to 25 metres in total length within a garden area, or in any other configuration to best fit your project, and you can purchase additional junctions or end caps if needed.

The filter sock is particularly effective at preventing silty sandy soil from entering the drainage pipe stopping it becoming blocked over time. However, it can be used in all soil types when installed correctly.

Allow for a 150mm layer of top soil, 100mm layer of stone in the bottom of the trench, and a trench wide enough to surround the land drain pipe coil in stone or gravel. The use of free draining stone or gravel around the pipe is required to prevent the surrounding soil from blocking the drainage holes in the pipe or sock, and will improve the effectiveness and longevity of the system.
