This Faithfull Cable Laying Shovel is designed for narrow trench work around live cables, such as when pipe or cable laying. It has a solid forged steel head and an extra wide ‘YD’ handle. The insulated shaft has a solid fibreglass core and an abrasive-resistant orange polymer coating. It conforms to BS8020:2002 and has been individually tested to 10,000 Volts - guaranteed to 1,000 Volts.
