Sewage Treatment Plants process waste water in a similar way to Septic Tanks. However, the mechanical components within them provide an additional treatment stage that helps to further breakdown solids. This works to produce a non-polluting effluent which is able to be discharged into a watercourse (subject to regional environment agency consent).

Our range of sewage treatment plants are fully approved to meet environmental standards, and are available in a range of sizes for both domestic and commercial use. From small wastewater treatment plants for up to 5 people, with a 3750 litre volume, to our largest plant for up to 30 people. The size of a sewage treatment plant, like a septic tank, varies from household to household depending on the number of people living in the property the plant is treating, but should always overestimate if you’re unsure. Domestic sewage treatment plants are reliable with regular maintenance, can be installed on compact sites and are cost effective over time, with only installation, power and maintenance costs. Additionally, the leftover clean water can be pumped back into the property to minimise water use and reduce the water bill.
