The 150/178mm Class 3 Electric Cable Black Ducting Length is designed for underground cable management applications across civils, utility and telecommunications sectors. Manufactured from polyethylene with a twinwall construction, the duct features a smooth internal bore to help reduce cable snagging during installation, alongside a corrugated external profile for added strength and durability.

This lightweight and flexible ducting solution is suitable for electricity cable installations where a robust Class 3 duct system is required. Each 6m duct length is supplied with a corresponding duct coupler for installation compatibility.

Product Details

This 150/178mm Class 3 black electric cable ducting is manufactured from polyethylene and designed for underground cable management applications across civils, utility and telecommunications sectors. The twinwall construction combines a smooth internal bore to assist with cable installation and a corrugated external wall to improve strength and durability.

Technical Design

The ducting provides a 450N compression performance at ambient operating temperatures, making it suitable for demanding underground installation environments. Each 6m duct length is supplied complete with a corresponding duct coupler for connection between duct sections.

This product does not include a built-in drawcord.

Standards & Compliance

The ducting is manufactured to BS EN 61386 standards and is BBA certified (HAPAS) as required by the Highways Agency.

This product is Class 3 compliant but is not ENATS 12-24 approved.
