Septic tanks are a traditional, single chamber answer for domestic sewage disposal when it isn’t possible to connect to a mains sewer system. In this 22,000 litre Klargester Large Septic Tank, the sewage is collected and, over time, the solids are digested anaerobically. This breaks them down into sludge and the surplus effluent liquid leaves the tank via the outlet.
