Clearwater Silage Tanks are designed to collect, retain and store potentially corrosive waste, such as animal and veterinary effluent and sewerage, underground.

The shallow dig design, sometimes referred to as horizontal, means you won’t need to excavate as deep on site and will help to avoid issues with groundwater levels.

For installation you will require a concrete base and a concrete surround (both to be cast on site to suit site conditions) and a concrete cover slab on top. See installation guidelines for further details.

The key features of this 71,000 litre Clearwater Silage Tank are:

• Constructed from Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) – a durable, impact resistant material with a high strength to weight ratio
• Corrosion resistant - a special lining prevents corrosion from chemicals and silage effluent
• Available with a High-Level Alarm – to alert you when contents reach a high level for complete peace of mind.

Optional Extra Notice: The high level alarm is an optional extra, purchased at additional cost, but it is one recommended by the manufacturer for this unit.

This silage tank is suitable for storing:

• Rainwater harvesting reservoirs
