This ice resistant PLASSON bib tap is designed for use with a wall plate elbow to create an outdoor water access point in areas where temperatures can drop to -20C. An elasticity in the body material enables the valve to absorb the increase in volume caused by icing and then return to its original geometric sealing characteristics once the ice melts.

Manufacturers Advice: Plasson Fittings and Valves are designed for cold water applications up to 20 Degrees C and will withstand sub-zero temperatures. It is strongly recommended that BSP threads are assembled with PTFE tape to ensure a leak free joint.
