This electrofusion transition saddle is specially designed to fit around an existing length of metric MDPE pipe and create a branch off the main line via an imperial fitting. Being able to wrap around the pipe eliminates the need to cut it and re-join the two pieces, effectively making it possible to create a branch almost anywhere along the pipe line with ease.

Electrofusion is a highly effective means of joining MDPE pipework, using built in electric heating elements in the fitting to create a strong, reliably secure joint when fussed to the pipe.

All fittings are BS EN 12201 and BS EN 1555 approved and are fitted with 4.0mm pins. PLASSON electrofusion fittings can be used with PLASSON’s computerised SmartFuse System control box, Fusamatic control boxes, barcode reading and by manual control boxes.
