This Push-Fit Waste Reducer is designed to be a quick, easy way to enable a connection between a 40mm Push-Fit waste pipe system and a 32mm Push-Fit waste pipe system. Manufactured from Polypropylene, to BS EN 1451-1 standards, the Reducer has one socketed end, with push-fit ring seal fittings, and one plain.

Manufacturers Advice: For ease of installation use Silicone Lubricant on the plain end of the fitting/wastepipe as well as the push-fit ring seal of the socketed end. An allowance of a 10mm expansion gap on all push-fit joints is required for the expansion of pipes and fittings in each socket of push-fit systems. It is recommended that Polypropylene waste systems, where externally installed, are protected against prolonged exposure to sunlight with exterior gloss paint.

Working Temperature

FloPlast's Soil & Waste Systems may be used to carry liquids, when subjected to a continuous flow, with a maximum temperature of 76 degrees C. Intermittent discharges of up to 100 degrees C may occur, provided that a duration of less than two minutes is observed.
