The pack includes 1 coil of perforated pipe, 2 junctions, 4 end caps, and a geotextile filter sock - the core components required to install a functional land drainage system, with flexibility to adapt the layout to suit your project. The inclusion of a geotextile filter sock helps reduce the risk of silty or sandy soils entering the pipe, supporting long-term system performance.

Product Details

This garden lawn pack provides the core components required to construct a herringbone land drainage system, with flexibility to adapt the layout to suit site conditions. The system can be installed up to 25 metres in total length or configured differently depending on the project requirements.

Additional junctions and end caps can be used to extend or modify the system layout where required.

Installation Guidance

For effective performance, a trench should be excavated to allow for:

• A 100mm layer of free-draining stone or gravel at the base
• Sufficient width to fully surround the pipe with stone or gravel
• A 150mm layer of topsoil above the drainage layer

The use of clean, free-draining backfill material is essential to help prevent surrounding soil from blocking the pipe perforations or filter sock.

The geotextile filter sock is particularly beneficial in silty or sandy soil conditions, where there is a higher risk of fine particles entering the system.
