Washdown & Silt Separators

Washdown and Silt separators can be used in areas such as car wash and other cleaning facilities that discharge directly into a foul drain which feeds to a municipal treatment facility.

As contaminated water passes through the separation chamber, it is retained long enough to allow solids to sink to the bottom of the unit, at which point the water is then able to discharge safely.
