Klargester Washdown & Silt Separators

Klargester Washdown and Silt Separators are intended for use in areas such as car wash and other cleaning facilities that discharge directly into a foul drain, which feeds to a municipal treatment facility.

As contaminated water passes through the separation chamber, it is retained long enough to allow solids to sink to the bottom of the unit. The Klargester design uses a maximum of 6 minutes hydraulic retention time, at the flow rate given. The separator water is then able to discharge safely.
