This PLASSON electrofusion one sided adjustable elbow is designed to join two lengths of MDPE pipe while creating a bend in the pipe line. Its adjustability allows an angle up to 12dg to be created, which becomes fixed once welded to the pipe.

The PLASSON adjustable elbow simply and easily solves situations such as:

• Misaligned pipes
• Connections at an undefined angle
• Connection of misaligned pipes to valves, pumps and other stationery devices
• Connection of buried pipes where only a short section is exposed

Prior to welding, the ball joints are fully adjustable within the +12° range. After welding, the joint is a fixed electrofusion welded connection.

Important Notice: This fitting is for joining two pipes of equal diameter only.

Electrofusion is a highly effective means of joining MDPE pipework, using built in electric heating elements in the fitting to create a strong, reliably secure joint when fussed to the pipe.

All fittings are BS EN 12201 and BS EN 1555 approved and are fitted with 4.0mm pins. PLASSON electrofusion fittings can be used with PLASSON’s computerised SmartFuse System control box, Fusamatic control boxes, barcode reading and by manual control boxes.
