Solar Powered Separator Alarm

This Solar Powered Separator Alarm system is designed to observe the levels of oil, silt and liquid inside the separator. The system is supplied complete with an intrinsically-safe control unit together with a high oil probe, and a steel mounting stand.

The control unit is capable of monitoring up to 6 probe units in 2 separator tanks (3 probes per tank), to automatically monitor oil, silt and liquid levels, and displays their current status via a 2 x 16 liquid crystal display. If excessive levels are reached, the alarm will activate a claxon or beacon to provide an audible or visual notification when the separator needs emptying.

Solar Powered Separator Alarms remove the need for digging ducts and laying long cable runs, making installation efficient, cost effective and ideal for remote, outdoor locations where mains power is not available.

Important Notice: British European Standard EN 858-1 and Environment Agency Pollution Prevention Guideline PPG3 requires that all separators are to be fitted with an oil level alarm system and that it should be installed and calibrated by a suitably qualified technician so that it will respond to an alarm condition when the separator requires emptying.
